About this career
Physicists study the deepest 'how does this work?' questions — from tiny particles to whole galaxies — and turn the answers into technology like lasers, medical scanners, and computer chips. The work is heavy on math and careful experiments or simulations. Most research roles need an advanced degree, but the curiosity starts in high school.
