Calculus, mechanics, and circuits — and why they're worth it.
Engineering leans on a core of math and physics:
- Calculus describes how things change — speeds, forces, currents.
- Mechanics (forces, motion, energy) underlies civil and mechanical work.
- Circuits and electronics underlie electrical work.
It's normal to find this hard at first. The PDF's advice is blunt and correct: don't skip the math. Weakness in math becomes a ceiling later. Start with algebra and units, then build toward calculus. You don't need to be a genius — you need steady practice and good feedback.
